Our collections are not just aesthetically pleasing, but they also stand as a testament to our commitment to creating a greener, more inclusive future for the next generation.

We are proud to be a GOTS certified enterprise, a designation that affirms our commitment to maintaining the highest global standards for organic textiles. From sourcing raw materials to the final stages of production, every step in our process ensures the integrity of our garments, prioritizing sustainable and responsible practices. We understand the trust you place in us when you choose Infantium Victoria for your kids, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Infantium Victoria is a pioneer in cruelty-free fashion, ensuring that every garment is made with love and respect for all living beings. We say no to animal-based products and practices, choosing instead to embrace innovative, plant-based materials and ethical production methods. Our commitment to animal welfare extends to our supply chain, with each vendor and partner meticulously chosen to align with our vision of a compassionate, cruelty-free world.

In addition to being sustainable and vegan, Infantium Victoria is a destination for designer kids fashion. Why have we decided to become a GOTS company?

Becoming a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified brand was a conscious and deliberate choice for us at Infantium Victoria, fueled by our commitment to sustainable kids fashion. GOTS is not just a certification; it represents a holistic approach to sustainability, intertwining with all 17 of the Sustainable Development Goals. From the inception of our brand, our vision was clear—we wanted to lead the industry as the top sustainable kidswear brand.

As a young start-up, we knew we needed a roadmap to guide us towards this goal. We meticulously charted our production chain, scrutinizing the origin of each fabric and trim we used. Careful selection was not only for our partners but also for our first atelier, whose craftsmanship breathed life into our initial collections. Every fabric we've used since our early days is organically sourced and GOTS certified.

As our brand grew, so did our collections and production needs. We expanded to some of the first GOTS factories in Europe, and as our reach extended further, we looked to India—a major hub for organic cotton production. During this process, we prioritized factories that upheld our stringent criteria for fair treatment of workers. By this point, both our materials and factories were GOTS certified.

It was only logical for us to take the next step: to become part of the GOTS certifying system ourselves. We firmly believe in sharing the certification cost with our supply chain, reflecting our commitment to fairness and transparency. It seemed incongruous to us to use premium, certified textiles and not offer a final product that carries the same prestigious certification. In 2019, we became a GOTS certified company, and since then, we've strictly adhered to the high standards it represents.

As of 2023, our entire supply chain consists of GOTS certified units, and nearly 90% of our production proudly carries the GOTS label, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to sustainable, ethical, and high-quality kids fashion.

Fostering Fairness: Our Commitment to Supplier and Worker Wellbeing

At Infantium Victoria, we regard our workers and suppliers not just as integral parts of our operations, but as extended family members. We believe in building relationships grounded in respect, open dialogue, and mutual benefit. Over the years, we've collaborated with several enterprises, each partnership contributing to our shared vision of a more ethical and sustainable fashion industry.

This sense of community and mutual support was particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic. We stood by our suppliers, refusing to cancel orders even when they were delayed by over nine months. We shone a spotlight on these resilient individuals, highlighting their hard work and dedication in the face of unprecedented challenges. By promoting their businesses, we hoped to encourage others within our industry to recognize their worth and consider partnerships with them.

We have always maintained transparency about our suppliers and workers, knowing their success contributes to a healthier, more ethical industry, and a better world. Our commitment to uplift good people within the industry aligns with our belief that prosperity should be shared and that it ultimately benefits all of humanity.

Adhering to GOTS standards, we have a Code of Conduct in place. One of the most contentious issues in the textile world is that of a living wage. In line with the current GOTS standards, we are not just aware of, but intimately involved in, understanding the wages that our workers receive. We personally review our suppliers twice a year and conduct interviews with workers, ensuring that their earnings align with the living wages in their respective countries.

Furthermore, one of our factories participates in the Fairtrade program, which includes special incentives for workers. This initiative exemplifies our unwavering commitment to promote fair wages and positive working conditions within the sustainable kids fashion industry.

Crafting Compassion: Our Vegan Commitment in Sustainable Kids Fashion

Infantium Victoria's collections embody a deep respect for all living beings. This philosophy is woven into our brand's fabric as we commit to a completely vegan production line. We firmly stand against the use of any animal-derived materials such as wool, silk, leather, and horn. Our commitment extends beyond ethical considerations; it also encompasses our environmental responsibility. While some might argue that using animal by-products is merely utilizing waste from other industries, we view it as an exploitative practice that has no place in creating clothing for children. We aim to set a compassionate example for future generations, fostering harmony within our ecosystems.

Children, being the impressionable sponges they are, absorb the values instilled in them during their early years. We firmly believe that promoting vegan fashion is a vital principle to teach our young ones. The decision to go vegan was not an easy one, given the complexity it added to our supply chain. Back in 2014, it necessitated scrupulous checking of every dye and minuscule detail in our materials to ensure our products were cruelty-free.

Our tireless efforts were recognized in 2015 when we received the Vegan Approved certification from PETA, an organization advocating for animal rights. We are also certified Fur Free by Four Paws, another testament to our commitment to animal welfare.

We've always been at the forefront of innovation in using plant-based alternatives to animal materials. We were the first to introduce Weganool, a vegan alternative to cashmere, in our collection. We also take pride in creating the first children's garments using Piñatex, a plant-based leather alternative. We are optimistic about the future of vegan materials and firmly believe they represent the path forward for the fashion industry.
